Reluctant sale of my dark blue 3Ltr 'L' Reg SURF - change of job forces sale as the family only needs 1 vehicle now, so the car stays and the truck goes...
Has been well cared for vehicle since I bought it from Windisor Classics in Chertsey in August 2004 (when it was newly imported) and I have only clocked up 14,000 miles in those 2 years. Has been serviced regularly and is in good condition. Had all necessary conversions including speedo in August 2004 – also had a new cambelt then. Does have a small rust hole on the side of the back bumper and minor scratches from general wear and tear around areas like key hole on door. Recently had new back window motor.
It's been an exceptionally reliable vehicle and has been enjoyable to own. I’ll be sad to see it go. Have found fuel consumption on reasonable journeys to be about 25-26 miles to the gallon.
