  • Rare Black 94 3.0TD SSR-X for Sale!!

    Totatally Awesome Car!!

A 1994 Toyota Hilux Surf 3.0 TD Auto SSR-X in rare Black. Wanted good home for a great vehicle. Come and grab yourself a great BARGAIN The car is in fantastic condition throughout for a car of this type and age. The engine and automatic gearbox with overdrive are smooth. The electrically adjustable suspension works perfectly along with the Idle Up Switch Located in the same area. The gearbox is equipped with Overdrive lockout, Sports Mode and High and Low Ratio 4WD. Car also has a turbo timer. . The speed reading in the dash board has been converted in MPH. Only 75,212 Miles or so which is nothing at all for an indestructible Toyota Diesel. The exterior of the car is very good. The alloys and tyres are in very good condition. The Bulbar and Sides Steps are perfect. All of the wipers and electrics work as they should. All electrics work faultlessly including the Central Locking (child locks), Front, Rear and Back Electric Widows, electric Adjusted Mirrors with the nice Original Chrome Bodies. Also comes with original electric sunroof with wind reflector. Air conditioning, Front and rear heaters for individual heating requirements. The interior is in very good condition. The carpets are protected with Original Matching Toyota over Rugs. There are four Head Restraints and three seatbelts in the back. The Steering Wheel is also adjustable. I would welcome anyone to come and inspect the vehicle and I will happily take anyone for a drive in the car. Excellent drive. Wow yet another "Rare" one for sale

BTW you need to decide if you believe it has a 3 or a 4 speed gearbox, as your description lists both!
Never heard of a 2nd Gen with ABS or C/C before tho......

To be fair... we have got a 2nd gen here at the moment with cruise control, but it is a VERY RARE add on. If you can find buttons on the steering wheel to make c/c work then it is indeed a rare surf. If not then remove that bit also.

Ditch the ABS and the adjustable seat belts from the ad. Also your a/c may or may not have climate control. If it has then the centre light behind driver is huge with all the fans and stuff in.

Hows that now? I found it quite tricky getting hold of a black one hence 'RARE', if thats not good enough its the only black hi lux surf EVER owned by me, so that makes it 'RARE'

Hey - I was trying to help...I meant the c/c would make it rare.... and to remove the ref to c/c if you don't have the knobs on the steering wheel....

Black is still the best. (and yes mine is black)

The C/C I was refering to was climate control which I don't believe the 2nd Gens ever had, cruise control is as you say a rarity but does exist. The large unit on the roof of some models is an air cleaner unit with paper filters etc, AFIAK it has no climate control capabilities, but serves rather as a recirculation and filtering unit.

I guess the Black ones are rareish, my last one was Black over Silver. Without wanting to get into the endless color debate and despite currently having a Blue over Silver one, I err em hmm guess I prefer the Black ones too! Actually I think Henry Ford was right, I prefer all my cars to be black, especially the interiors, which the feckers never do anymore, ahh well..

Well Tony dictated that bit to me so I'll let you two argue about it!!

Thanx for the input guys, I am grateful and not very up on cars apart from driving them!

I bought the beast back in June, but due to changes in circumstances it is no longer financially possible to keep it, Grrrr!

I paid £5500 for it in June, so would be looking for offers around ish that mark
