I have a K reg surf 2.4 turbo deisel and I`m not happy with the suspension as it is too soft boing,boing. I have checked out all the 4x4 mags but they all seem to be offering 2-4 inch lift when all I need is to stiffen up my suspension. Can any-one help???

Spring is in the air.

Boing-boing sounds like sloppy shocks. I bought Procomp gas-shock and springs for my Range Rover. Pricey but first class products. So, best to buy direct.
I couldn't get hold of the springs at the same time so I went ahead and fitted the shocks anyway. What a difference! A lovely supple ride. When I got around to fitting the new springs I was frankly disapointed. Far firmer and hard-riding than the old ones. Harder does not equal better.

Have you tried the suspension settings on hard? Makes a huge difference.

You can get uprated springs and torsion bars from various places. PRocomp shocks work well and are cheap. But you'll loose the adjustablitly of stock ones.
