  • V8 Engine and gearbox for sale

Now my beloved Surf has been sold :'( I have no use for this Lexus engine.
I bought the engine, gearbox and ECU from a breakers yard in Kent that specialises in LS400's. at the time I bought it (about 24months ago) he assured me that the car it came from was purring like a kitten and was only scrapped due to a rear end collision. It had an alleged 45,000 miles on it.
It has been sat in my warm dry garage. The engine crane is also surplus to requirement and is also available for sale.
I will accept any sensible offers, as I could really use the garage space!

Auto. The Lexus V8s never came with manual 'boxes.

Did think that after posting but wasnt sure

Id debate it for my track car if it was manual and cheap enough but alas....

Sorry for the delay in replies, I'm working away from home at the moment.
It is indeed an auto. As for price, I paid £400 for it, it would be nice if I could get that back.
              Cheers,
              Sean

Is both the engine and transmission still available?

Are you able to strap them to a pallet?
