    Fish

(not my sale but after a set of 3rd gen ones for my ride, which is where I spotted these)

      Hi Morr,
Just a heads up, I bought a set of sidelights for the front of my Surf from the US - be warned that they were nowhere near the quality of the OEM eqpt, this is not an implication that your points of interest on Ebay are of similar quality, just be sure.

The lenses do not place properly on the body of the lights. I am quite sure that the product would flood with water with a single trip down the road unless sealed. I forced RTV sealant all along the edges with my finger and have just put it aside to cure, I might just not fit em right now, but keep em as spares. Ditto for the set of clear bumper indicators

      Warmest Regards
      Udhi

Fair enough, doubt I'd be bothered with any US rear lights as I believe they use a combined turn signal/side light (I'm open to correction on this one). The plain clear rears I think look naff, altough some of the Altezza styles look good, which surprises me as I hate them on all the ricers! The clear bumper indicator I have however been considering so thanks for the warning

Actually its Fish that's looking for the rear lenses above. I was just pointing him towards Cmars posting in the for sale section.

          Actually,
I have a contact in Japan who bids and buys kit for me on Yahoo Japan. He basically gets it and then sends it to me. The Jpn sellers hate dealing with overseas postage and the language, so I tend to paypal Mark and he bids, buys and sends - he charges about $25.00 for "services" though.

The Altezza style lights sold in Jpn will be perfect fit, and they certainly have some fancy fancy kit over there.

We could capitalise on it and get kit bundled over in larger packs

          Regards

anyone tried the la supertrux ones yet? or even seen them in the flesh.

dont know what the 'usual' rate for surf stuff but compared to the ones i bought for my prelude a couple of years ago theyre tres cheap! (about £200 each back then - they never looked as good as REAL altezza lights grafted in tho')

            take care

            Chris

The Supertrux lights are great quality and look nice, but only fit pickups, not Surfs.
