Winch Rope

Winch Rope. This is Marlow cabling rope it is used on mechanical under ground cable pulls and is rated at 10 ton. Brand New unused.

I used one on my Jimny and it was perfect. You will have to get an eyelet spliced into the end or tie and lash the hook on.

For £40 a rope 1/5th of the price of a plasma,
I think you will find them a great alternative to wire.
Each rope is 100ft long.
I have splayed the end to show the multi-fiber core, this gives the rope super strength but keeps it's flexibility.

hi ,wanted to replace the steel rope on my winch .would it be a big job to get the hook attached to one end of it ? who would do it ? could i do it myself ? can u send to Ireland ? thanks Kevin

Kevin I just tied the hook on, look in my "It begins" thread in the modification section. If there are any canals near you the narrow boat lads would splice on for you. Give me your address and I will check postage

Hi brian , got the rope spent the evening splicing an eye on the end of it for the hook (got instructions on the internet )worked out well and looks good now thanks kevin
