  • freewheeling hubs, wide steel rims etc

    Hi

Selling a pair of freewheeling hubs i ran on my 2nd gen surf.
Sold the surf but still have the hubs.
Hubs are from a 97 IFS hilux pickup.
Saves fuel and less mass to spin when you pull off (and to keep spinning,
try twisting the front half shafts by hand once the existing drive hub plate is removed to see what i mean).
Fairly easy to fit once you have removed the circlip on the axle end splines, and got the six cone shaped split washers on the move in the plate.
(WD40 and tap on the raised edge of the hardened split cone washers with a small hammer and hard drift until they pop loose. two threaded holes in drive plate to act as a puller, but you're lucky if they'll stand pulling the cone washers free, and once they're stripped....). There are two dowels in there too.
    200. from toyota, 100. from roughtrax, (per pair).

    Also four weller steel rims.
two 10 inch wide and two 8 inch wide, by 15 inch.

And a rear window relay (lives in the passenger side rear corner behind plastic fascia).

Make me an offer on any of the above.
I'm in Kent so have to add postage.

E-mail me at lurkalot007@yahoo.co.uk if you like

    Hopefully i've added some pics....

    Cheers, Sim

        Hubs

        Hi

I have a sale good as agreed for the hubs, and two people who have asked if they are still for sale so i think these are gone.

            Hi

25 each for the tens, 20 each for the eights sound o.k.?
No idea what the postage/courrier cost might be. I'd have to look into it.

            Cheers

            Sim
