Just wanted to let you know that I got that speedo. It's from a 3 litre so has no turbo light....but it sorted out the problem anyway. Booked the jeep in for the test today too!

Looks like were both flat out at the moment just about to start a three week stint with no time off. No rush on the body the MOT runs out on the 28th so Ill take the truck to the yard then and start stripping - Ive got some chassis work to be getting on with anyway so hopefully things would have calmed down a bit for both of us and I can come collect it from you.

Got a phone call last night to say a friend found a set of clocks locally. I can collect them tomorrow and fit them to see if it fixes the problem. If not, they'll take them back.

If there's any problem with them and I need yours still...I'll come back to you.

Jesus I know what it's like doing shifts like that.....we started up a new factory last year and it was 12 hr shifts 6 or 7 days a week for a couple of months. Tough going... all you do is work, eat, sleep.

That's grand I'll hang on. After telling you I'd take it I wouldn't like to get it from someone else unless I was desperate. Just want to get her tested and legal......
