Are the front seats up for grabs? I'm down to the metal on the left side of the drivers seat on mine and I was just quoted £150-200 for the repair.

I can empathise with your engine probs. My Surf boiled its engine just before Xmas resulting in a cracked head and cracked cylinder block. But we only realised the cylinder was cracked 50 miles after the head had been replaced... cost more to sort than the Surf is worth but at least the engine seems ok now...

i have still got the drivers seat, with no rips or burns just the slightest wear on the edge of the pipeing. the passender seat has no base swab but the rest of it is OK.

great you spend the thick end of a £1000 on doing the head just for the bottom end to trow the towel in after just 60 miles

i have just spent another £75 getting the head checked over to make sure its still 100% OK before i can sell it to help recover my losses

i will try and post some fresh pics up tomorrow. £40 for the pair plus delivery at £20 each.
as i said the passenger one has no swab/base cushion.

no. according to the manual there sports seats i.e. they have lumber support and the side wings are adjustable. didn't get chance to take pics today but will tomorrow as i have to strip some more bits off

I might need the floor mounts as well - my seats are Recaro's and I don't know what the differences are.

i am not sure you understood what i was saying about lower swab missing, as you have recaro's and mine has no lower swab you won't be able to make one good one out of the 2...any way pics are here atlast(better late than never) sorry about the delay

yes but i don't trust it as my engine went because of low oil pressure, thus the turbo would of been starved of oil.
if you are local you can call in and have it for free.

what parts do you want? ask away

rear diff making horrid noises when accelarating normally looks like i will have to replace. any views?
