Any chance of some better pics of tow bar fitted. I'd like to see how much below the bumper it hangs ? along with the mounting brackets.

it's the type that clamps onto the towball carrier plate, you need a decent heavy duty towbar to use with it. the towball then bolts on the top, so you can carry a bike and towOriginally posted by Antony_James View PostIs the bike carrier one of those ones that clamp onto a tow hitch, or one that directly clamps on to the chassis ?
thanks

2nd gen Towbar, Trailbike carrier, bits and bobs.
My surf was sadly written off early last year, and I took the towbar off before letting her go to the scrapyard in the sky. It turns out I'm never going to be able to run a surf again, so I have some stuff for sale.
1. A whitter Towbar. complete with fittings kit. It's a bit scratched and rusty from use, but totaly sound and would be perfect with a coat of paint.
Say £60 which is half the cost of a new one.

2. A trailbike carrier. I used this to carry a DR350, with no problems, although I don't think I'd try anything bigger. again it's well used looking but sound.
Say £45, again that's half the cost of the new one.
Or £95 for the pair.
3. A set of wind deflectors, servicable
4. a couple of manuals, the haynes and the Max ellory.
If there's any interest you can contact me at tdbanks (at) btinternet.com
Im based in cheshire, near Junction 18 of the M6
