still have an alternator but it ain't in great shape - I drilled the adjuster bolt out while it was still in the engine bay so it got some of the drill shavings in, and an 8mm hole where there should be a 6mm threaded one still seemed to work ok for the next few weeks til i began to break it - but i think it's the later type anyway.

Went to tension a loose belt and the bolt snapped, was already having problems with the truck at the time and pretty much knew it would be being scrapped but just needed it on the road for another week or two so didn't worry too much about doing a pain in the arse job properly.

I do but i'd rather sell the complete unit for 2 reasons -

1) the mirror assy ain't gonna sell easily without the glass

- but also -

2) the cost of posting and packing the glass on it's own would probably add up to the same or higher price than the glass in your local motorfactors anyway

OK will price up P&P tomorrow, very nearly stung myself and ended up sending out a part at a loss this week coz i didn't weigh it before quoting P&P, all but for the generosity of a forum member.
