Hey mate

Apologies if someone's already asked and I missed it. What state are the rails running along the bottom edge of the rear window glass in? Mine are rusted and need replacing.

Price for the rails (or I guess the rails and glass) if they're okay.

Hi, i do still have the rear window...but im guessing mine are not in much better conditon than yours...must be a weak spot on these...prob worth getting some new as i would guess all models of this age are gonna have similar problems..

depends how bad they are if it's just surface corrosion rather than holes i 'cleaned' mine with a dremel type multitool and wire brush wheel thing on it and the runnner's came up nice, then just filled them with a white PTFE spray on grease, and silicon spray lube in the rubbers.

Is it an electronic speedo? If so do you still have the speedo head and/or speed sensor from transmission?

Hi Sparkz, which rear door has gone, I'm looking for the near side, as mine has rust hole in it, but if its gone I'll revert o plan A ( the body shop) as I've got to sort out the n/side rear wheel arch too.

sorry...i didnt explain that very well...the tailgate is gone...i have both rear doors still available!..all the doors are in good condition...no rust, dents etc


you can have one for £25 or both of them for £45

dependent on where you are in the world...they might be an option of meeting up as i travel a bit with work...altenitivly you are more than welcome to collect from northampton...or i can look in to options and costs of posting

Hi sparkz, some little scrote broke in to my Surf a while back and tried to nick the radio, knackering a lot of the dash in the process. Which bits of dash are left??

pretty much most of it is still available...the bottom panel on the drivers side (where the drivers side speaker is) is gone...but the rest of it is slitt up for grabs...let me know which bits your after or take a pick of the damge and email me it...and ill check to see if i can supply

Hi Sparx.

Ok, here goes. I have owned my first ever Hilux (K Reg Surf SSR-X) for precisely two days and I love love love love it (why oh why oh why do people drive saloons????).... However, there are a few of things I need.

Firstly a spare tyre (the one on there was slashed on a council estate in Warrington before I bought it...) do you have one available?

Secondly - rear passenger side seatbelt - that is where my 18 month old son sits and I want that sorted before I put his child seat in.

Thirdly - audio speakers. Mine seem to be ok but I guess a couple of spares wouldn't go amiss if one gets blown.

Fourthly - Motor for electric aerial antenae. I will consider buying the aerial too as a complete set, if need be.
