  • Unfinished surf trailer!

    Right...
    Due to unforeseen circumstances...
I have the back half of a surf, chassis rails chopped and bent in, floor lifted up to fill the hole just in front of the back doors where it was cut in half. Its not finished cos the welder died. It's not going to be finished cos people keep making me do other stuff. Boffocks.!
Its got a spare wheel carrier on the back, will come with full instructions to finish There a bonnet, wings and grill going begging too. You will need to bring a trailer or a welder and a hitch to move it.
Need to go soon as.Its a little bit further along than this, but it's dark now so you will have to wait.

Lol - obviously not. We saw a Capri years ago a club meet with a Capri trailer - cool idea. Sad your welder died though.

Look I've had a bad day. Why don't you bugger off and be sarcastic at someone else? If no one wants it, it's going to be weighed in.

Ahhh all is clear I think.
Rails bent in to form the A frame/hitch bit. Then you open the rear up put your stuff in side and away you go, I think. A covered in trailer from the back end of a Surf, how you open the rear window?

Good idea for the trailer tho

I've been trying to get my garden clear of scrap truck parts for 2 years and i'm slowly getting there.Gotta be sorted tho for when Mandy gets her new car begining of May

Scrap steel hit its highest this week , so anyone weighing in is quids in . I weighed in a shell of a Surf and got £157 , this week I would have got £185 +

£30 for a copper hot water tank !!

Yep thats the plan. The rails have been cleaned off and cranked in, another bit of roof has been attached to close up the big hole at the top, needs the cuts in the rails welding and a hitch to tow, and some tinkering with the electrics to get a little battery to charge off the lighting to operate the rear window. Simple little jobs, as long as your landlord doesn't start going on...
