  • Gen3 : A Bar (damaged).

I have a spare A-bar after fitting full bull bars to mine over the weekend.

    They are twisted though.

Will go down the tip on the weekend, so if someone wanted them.

Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

                I'll get a pic tonight.

                The story :

                I had this before

And then got a full set of bull bars with A frame.

I took the origional ones off, and then fitted the bars, and it wouldn't fit.

I then used the origional A frame, and then the top chrome bars (and trim) and it fitted fine.

Looking at the frame it seems to have been banged a bit, but i think it'd still fit - if you don't add the bull bars (it was the small bull bar mounts that interfered with the bumper).

                I'm based in Fleet, Hants.

Coolio Bibbs.....I'll take it if I may....my front is looking very plain.

..(I would still like a pic though )

....If OK, I'll arrange to pop down some time and pick it up (unless anyone from there is coming into London, as the Mother in law lives in Sutton).

                  thanks

Well I sprayed up the trim last night (was gold) and took some pics of the old A bar.

As you can see it's bent in places, and the trim cover isn't 100%.

                    But then it's free

Coolio matey....I'll take it if I may.

You OK to hold onto it until I can get down to you (shouldn't be too long).

...or maybe I can get a surf train up to either Sutton or Essex.

I'll squese it into the woodshed.

I can deliver around the area.

Live in Fleet, work in Reading, often in the Basingstoke area (wrong direction, but maybe easier for the Surf-train )

Wife has family in Basingstoke (well, old Auntie in a old persons' home)....and family in Devon (we always pass Fleet services on the way to and from Devon) so will find out when we will next be that way.

                          thanks for the offer!

I'm about 5/10 mins from M3 J4a (I think it's that one, the one before Fleet services).

and work is about 5 mins from J11 on the M4.
