  • range rover for 3rd gen ssrg?

    hi guys,

i have a professionally bobtailed range rover with big offroad tyres, winch bumper, air locking diffs and roll cage etc etc. all taxed and mot'd.

after a possible swap with a 3rd gen diesel surf.

    what have you got?

featured in landrover mag a while ago, so got loads of pictures!

    cheers,

    Curly

    Ha ha your funny :-)

    I have a 1:32 scale model of a 3rd Gen I would swap.

    Nissan Patrol for on-road, and a Land-Rover 110 shed for off-road :-)

Im not overly sure why this guys getting it in the neck!

          Its a decent looking truck.

With air lockers and a winch, that will set you back a hefty chunk of cash!

An standard 3rd gens have been selling on ebay for £2500ish.

            Because it's a Range Rover.....

Agreed, though. Looks like a decent enough toy for those who like to get muddy.

thanks Rod! atleast someone knows a good motor when they see it!

it is a dam good truck, well built, reliable and much much better than a surf in the mud! just wondered if there was someone that wanted an off roader, and rather than spend a fortune putting all the offroad stuff on their surfs, they could swap for my rangie ready to play!

and yes it does come with a winch for the winch bumper, not that i've ever had to use it though..

whats the harm in putting it up in here?

SMEGO2 and HILUX, you can keep your big gobs shut, you probably dont even know what an air locker is..

he he i used to own a mitsi L200 and used to take that green laning, and it was more fun in that than in the rangie. Bob the Bobtail just goes anywhere, where as tha L200 was more of a chalenge which i liked, so thats why i fancied a Surf. love the look of them, and can use as an everyday drive about too!
