looking for my first surf (ah bless..) found a 2.4 ssx in a garage 5 miles away (south warwickshire) they want 6k, its on a k plate all very nice condition. I am tempted cos its close if theres a problem but is it dear? Am i just being idle? should i sell a kidney and get a 3.0?

Check surfs for sale 1st. for 6K you can get a 3.0

When I started looking earlier this year, most K reg were listed at 5k, some as low as 4k. 6k seems too high.

don't be tempted 2 buy the 1st 1 u c. i looked at few. i wanted the 1st 1 i saw but am very happy i shopped around it was worth it and saved me a grand and half to tart it up.
