Just swapped my 2.4 for a 3.0 at Chequered Flag.Well impressed with service.Steve runs a very professoinal outfit.Has some awesome stuff for sale.Well worth a look if your changing your motor.

Bought mine from them Oct 04. Still going strong with no probs. Steve goes out of his way to make sure you're happy - he even changed the steering wheel for me as I didn't like the one it had been fitted with! Checking in next week for new cam belt and service... lending me a car so I can go out (shopping!) while it's being done... Highly recommended dealer.

Bought my surf from Steve a year ago had it MOTeed last week sailed it without as much as an advisory all Ive had to buy for it is wiper blades, couldnt say the same about the Freelander I had before the Surf, what a heep O $$$$e that was.

But thats another story.

Its ok - seems I went the only day of the week it isnt open

The compound is all sealed off so i couldnt see it from the road which is what threw me. But then if I had a load of japanese import cars in the Beeston area I would lock then up pretty secure too!

A wax coat and polish is not worth 3,500 quid mate!

Shiney paintwork, polished wheels and dressed tyres is all that I can see.

It's a very nice Surf but far too expensive!

Shine is not expensive - if I could sell mine for that I'd be chuffed to bits - I'd get right onto eblag and buy a 3rd gen, and have some change for mods.......
