Hello to all you guys out there with Surfs. Looking through your comments, it seems that some of you have had problems with overheating, particularily with the 2.4. Having sold many of these great machines and occassionaly having the overheating gremlin visiting some of my customers in the past, the conclusion and remedy is that the Japs do not usualy drive at high speed, therfore the vehicles do not have the benifit of agood blast through and sludge up, so what I have been doing is to give the cooling system of all vehicles during service proir to sale a good flushing (Wynn`s radiator flush). Run up with additive, drain and run with hosepipe for 20 mins.
NOT HAD A PROBLEM SINCE and although simple,that cost alot to find out.

Okay...flushing is good but where can I get hold of a new radiator in the UK? Any lead welscome
