The grim warning came as Japanese imports specialist Hamid Fadai was fined £30,000 and ordered to pay £1,500 costs after admitting various trade descriptions offences. It was the first case of its kind in which an importer had been convicted.

Good, maybe a wake up call to all dealers who do this sort of thing, I know of at least one garage who has been done three times for clocking cars small fine and still trading. Maybe these bigger fines will at least cut down the ones doing it, hopefully.

You will need to get the mileage checked with http://www.bimta.co.uk/default.asp ,and then the trading standards would be the other people to contact.
