You may be in a little trouble with a 2nd Gen shape, all intakes for all engines are all on the Passenger side, so no one lists any for the other side. 3rd Gens I can get either side for.
Might have to just make a homemade pipe jobby, although why other side??

A couple of reasons I want one is. Gets rid of airbox to make room on other side. More direct intake to engine from right side. Also makes room on top for a water to air intercooler. A rectangular filter box can be made to mount on drivers side between fuse box and engine. Just have to move maybe the 4WD VSVs to fit a snorkel.
Not sure if the L200 ones will fit the surf or not as these are on the o/s.They are similar shape wings as a surf so i'm sure they could be fettled to fit the surf
I looked into this too when I was trying to find room for an intercooler (no bodylift) I thought use one large battery on the passenger side then put the air filter where the drivers side battery is. Then move fusebox 'a bit' and have the intake from a snorkel on the drivers side.
I figured this was the best solution but a bit tight for space. I then thought about having the air filter where the passenger side battery is and have the snorkel come in underneath the intercooler. I haven't taken measurements yet but think it may 'just' work.
The Spanish folks do the 167 series for 100 Euros plus shipping. Strange that the left hand side 167 snorkel looks a bit different to the 106 snorkel thats made for our truck ?
What I mean is the 106 model fits the left hand side of our truck, but they also list a left and right 167 model for the hilux. Why would they make a different 106 model for our surfs if the left hand side 167 model fits ours ?
