Hi all
I had to replace both my batteries on my 3.0l 2nd gen Surf and after swotting up on here was going to buy from Alpha [just under £130 the pair], another reply said try the Toyota main dealers?
Now I've always shy'd away from main dealers, I've found them to be very expensive and have a poor attitude concerning imports but I emailed them for a quote anyway, here's their reply.

Thank you for your Email regarding the two batteries. The part numbers you have supplied have been superseded to the following part numbers and we carry them in stock:
28800-YZZAG is now 28800-YZZJC £65.00 inc VAT before 4th January 2011 and £66.38 inc VAT after 4th January 2011.
28800-YZZAH is now 28800-YZZJD £75.01 inc VAT before 4th January 2011 and £76.61 inc VAT after 4th January 2011.
If you would like me to reserve the two batteries or have any further quires, please Email or call me on the number below and I would be more than happy to help.
Please note we are open 8am until 6pm for the rest of this week but closed Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. Normal opening hours resume from Tuesday 4th January 2011, which are Monday to Friday 8am until 6pm and Saturdays 8.30am until 5pm.

I was pretty impressed with that price, two Toyota batteries from somewhere local so if I have problems they can be taken back easy and only £15 more than the best net price I could find.
I thought I'd share this with you guys and my starters never turned my engine so quick
