A buddy is thinking about getting one. Whats the general opinion on them? Are they any good offroad & are they reliable?
There is a few very cheap examples for sale over here.

i have a bighorn great truck built like a tank .i would get another one but dont get the 3.0 one the older 3.1 is supposed to be better.look in tor mag this month theres a nice one in there .i think if i had to part with one of my cars

i suppose asking about an isuzu on a toyota forum is like asking how to cook pork on a vegetarian forum .tel your mate to go for it (3.1) if he finds a good one.better engines than surfs anyway.

not sure i agree with you mate .






i can think of a lot of other 4x4s that look a lot uglier than this .
so what do you ll think is the ugliest 4x4 commonly used on the road today

well i think this is pig ugly with a great big fat ass no one will want this for of roading in a few years

Shoguns (even old ones) come with rear difflock as standard though apparently...

Dont know how they do off road, but a mate of mine says they are the best for towing.

I like troopers especilally this one. Theres so many bullsh1t crossover SUV's on the market so i kind of appreciate chunky simple design. Honest, solid looks.
Later Pajero's are poncey looking & not really intended for serious offfroading.


Get that feckin number plate fixed!!
