      Out of a Lexus 4x4?

Never realised they were fitted in another vehicle.

Is there a list somewhere of motors which will fit?

Is there any modifications (extra torque etc) that can be done?

Is there any info on preventing motor failure?

The reason being, mine is beginning to struggle a little.

No, a Lexus LS400, the cars I pull the V8s out of.
The same motors are used on all Toyotas from the nineties, probably before and since.

Do you have an ebay page/paypal?

Hang on one moment... I've just been told that the window motors in all the doors and rear tail gate are the same type!?

So I can replace the rear tailgate motor with one from a spare door I have?

              Is this correct??

Any of the motors fit, just turn the off side motors 180 degrees. They are only held on by two bolts, but work just fine.

                        :nods:

But you can't easily put your old window motor back in the O/S rear door, its binds on the mech.

must be a good market in these for someone, might be worth getting one 'made'??

or has anyone tried that before??
