Auto Transmission Gearshift illumination !!!!

Sought but couldn't find an answer to non-illumination of Gear position selector
Any help on where the problem is n where to start looking to rectify this ... all
much appreciated

mmm mine doesn't light up either... I just got used to feeling my way in the dark... lol

No problem in the dark (feelin n touchin) it's in the day time when I ain't got me Specs on !!!!

Mine's gone a bit dim since the body lift!

You have to strip off the shift console and theres a small bulb in there, plugs into the shift selector bit, where the indicator pointer is, undo the rear part of the center console and pop it back a bit, undo the hi/lo nob and let it hang by it's wire, lift the center section up (four screws undo first) and you can get at the bulb while holding the console up, keep saying i'll replace it with leds sometime but cant be arsed

Your welcome chaps, mine pleases itself as well, worked fine last time i had it in bits and as soon as i put it all together again it packed up, now it's on and off like a hookers pants
