  • KZN185 wiring diagrams

Sorry to post here, but having starting problems as per my current post in mechanical 3.0.
Tried the links to wiring diagrams in electrical, but both come up with page not found type errors.
Has anyone got wiring diagrams for the 3rd gen KZN185, specifically the ignition and the gearshift inhibitor switch stuff ?
    Thanks in advance !

Bugger has been running fine all day, apart from not letting me move out of PARK once (overcome by red switch) after starting.
Where does the ECU hang out ?

Check the 'STOP' fuse if the shift lock isn't working.
You should here a click from under the centre consol when you press the brake pedal, the shift lock circuit and brake lights share the same fuse..

Some Toyota shift lock info here.....

Only did it the once, fine since.
These intermittent problems can be a pain to fix, really need to check and clean all the appropriate connectors for a start. Been into the gearshift stuff, the starter, the relay box, fuses, so just the ECU to go.
Can start it and run it with jiggery pokery if needs be, then back to the trouble shooting once the weekend's over.
          Where's that ECU hiding ?

Behind the glovebox. I doubt you'll find the problem there though, it has nothing to do with the shift lock circuit.

Check the brake lights switch on the brake pedal.
