looking to go and do some amature off roading

hey guys,
ive got my self a standard gen 2. once its been serviced etc i want to take it for a bit of light off roading. i live in the dartford area. is there anywhere near me i can go for an afternoons fun?

also what mods do you suggest doing first? body lift? suspension lift? snorkel? ermm....
