First post, and maybe last if can't get Surf back on road!
Not very Mechanically adept so got our works mechanic to check massive fuel leak from truck, pinned down to fuel pump. Got new set of seals from roughtrax, he fitted top seal and repaired fuel return pipe (his words), charged £50. Luckily ain't paid him yet cos yesterday, started motor, did school run and thought would check for leaks, now a STREAM of deisel out of bottom of engine, still looks like coming from pump. He suggested full overhaul of injector pump, is this worth it or would it be cheaper fitting replacement pump? Really needing car for work, getting too fecking cold for cycling!!
Other alternative is to sell the beast, any ideas on what would get for it in present state, or is it worth fixing leak and selling it on then? Rear window not working, a/c has never worked since got it and bash in passenger door.
