Surf 2.4 TD Auto 1991
The problem is that it can be driven about 10 miles then a grinding noise starts at the front. Sounds a bit like a wheel bearing. It was changed and the others are ok but still making the grinding noises.
When it's put into 4 wheel drive the noise disappears. Put it back into 2 wheel drive next day no noise for about a week.
The grinding noise is now back.
Any ideas? wondered if it was the diaphram which selects the 2 and 4 wheel drive.
Any help would be greatefully recieved
Cheers
Jeff
