noise(gearbox i think)

hi people just like to find out if anyone knows what this might be a few months ago i was doing about 70mph and the uv joint at the gear box end broke causing the prop shaft to scrape along the road anyway i got it fixed but i noticed after that every time i was in top gear there was a loud scraping noise wich stopped when i took my foot off the gas and applyed the gas slowly but yesterday the scraping noise came back with a vengence now it is doing it all the time dosnt matter if im in park' neutral'or in drive the noise gets faster if i accelerate any ideas would be greatly welcome
