tyre sizes help please

Hi there i know this ought to be in wheels but thought might get viewed here easier.
i have a 2.4td surf with 16" split rims on and the tyres are 265/70/16 i have been offered a set of tyres as mine are worn out but the sizes are 275/70/16 will they fit still ?
