Well after a bit of time got round to fitting the fog light to the bumper itself...Had to go through 4 10amp fuses though. Why?
Well as the fog light was always suspended underneath I just moved the wires over everytime to the same connections not thinking about it [always isolated].....well after attaching to the bumper with some bolts through the base plate it took out the 10amp fuse to the tail lights...traced it to the fact that when the fog light was first put on at the garage someone had put the live wire to the bulb side and this was shorting out the fuse. DOH!
