Hi Guys, i'm real new to this forum so if this has been answered somewhere else, apologies - still getting the feel for it.
Could anyone give me some ideas to what this could mean:
Truck once running is brilliant, but when I brake or get the revs real low and the speed down I get 2 lights on the dash. 1 is clearly the battery and the other looks like a coily thing over to the left..lol..(you can tell i'm a mechanic NOT !) they dissapear when accelerating...?
Does this mean battery screwed or maybe alternator ? maybe both ??
She still starts although takes a lot longer than it used to....
Where do I start?
