Just to let you all know.
I found some 10W/40 semi-synth on ebay: 25L for £54 inc. carriage - seemed reasonable, especially as oil price is only going one way, so purchased it a couple of days ago, worked out at £2.16/L.

"Haha! Screw you Halfords!" methought, as last time I looked, they were selling 5L of semi-synth for around £19 for 5L.
Got dragged into MFI today by she whose kitchen must be ugraded, and popped into Halfords nextdoor to stave off the boredom, and lo and behold, 5L of 10W/40 semi-synth, on special offer @ £9 per 5L, so £1.80/L.

Anyway, thought I'd pass this on, as it's "while stocks last."
