couple of engine worries

had the cam belt changed at the local garage yesterday by the time i had driven home i could here a slight rubbing/squeeking noise from the front of the engine. took off the power steering belt tonight to make sure there wasn,t a noisey bearing on that but could still here it. any ideas what it could be? hope he checked the tensioner and water pump
also noticed recently the engine is breathing more, when i take off the oilf filler cap with engine running there is a fair bit of pressure and plenty of oil splattering out does that meen i have to start saving up for a recon?
