door latch

hi there, can anybody tell me if the rear door latch of my `93 surf is the same as a landcruiser prado. it looks similar at a glance. if so, should it cost the equivelant of 240 pounds. 2400 SA RANDS. the left side is not closing properly and its putting strain on the window, not to mention sucking in dust.
anybody got any solutions?
