  • Ln 65 tacho and fuel gauge

Hello guys, thanks for letting me join. As usual I have a hilux ln 65 lately, for some reason UK is the only country were I can get help as my country ie right hand drive too as Japan. I am feom Malta and I was lucky to buy a pick up dual cab ln 65. I think it has original AC, non original 2Lt. (was 2L as per plate) To tell it straight forward I read all unnecessary on TN forum which my model is super rare in the US. So a friend told me that my truck is excact copy of a Surfer/Runner.

I have some electrical prob which I checked on my experience but had no success. 2 days ago my Fuel gauge dropped to empty in a sudden. I checked all wiring and there is continuity, fuel sender(from socket but not attached to cluster) is giving me lot of numbers in kilo ohms. I checked gauge and is giving me a stable ohmage. Ignition indication there is 12v supply in cluster too. Sliders are clean and tested. Any more checks before I buy a new fuel sender.? Any part nos and were to buy in UK? As postage is fast and reliable from ther

Also Tacho was not attached to new engine. Any help on this?

Thanks and sorry for long texting.
