After reading of the many ways in which people have removed stickers, Id like to pass on my technique.
After a half day of jet-washing, rubbing with turps, petrol, vinegar, autoglym tar stuff and finally meths, I can say that meths works best.
But you do need to give it a good polish when your done.
HOWEVER, I was using mr Dremel fitted with a felt pad, this removed the thick of the glue, making the job with the meths easier. Until my pad wore out. cue scratched paint work.
I was telling this to my local hire shop bloke (Iwas after one of those "toffee wheels" that Id seen on here) when he mentioned carb cleaner.
So I tried it.
It worked ace. Squirt it on, leave it 5, Jet-wash off. Doddle
Quick rub with meths to remove little bits of leftover, then a good wash and polish.
Will put a pic up when Ive got one
