The buds have tiny little jack plugs, the cable can be removed or will come out if it's snagged.

ah hence the price tag, would svae me money in the long run, my sennheisers are about €90 a pop.... and am on my 3rd set now, my ear goggles for dj'n last a lot longer as the lead on them plugs into headphones similar to your buds...
