I am not being nor trying to be smart. I have simply pointed out some facts to you. I have said a number of times that I ACCEPT your warning and I ACCEPT the rules and abide by them. I have not come here to cause trouble - please state how if you actually think this. I merely posted some photos of the truck and some comments about that, plus some diff lock posts.

All you are showing us is that you are simply picking on one person because you can. You seem to be taking what I write and it meaning something completely different to you. No one else has a problem?

However it seems your mind is made up already.

Have been here on and off for a while now. Thought I would put up a pic of the Surf. It's a Japanese import, lifted on Landcruiser coils with adapter cups and BJ spacers. Also have 33" AT tyres with American Racing Baja 15x10 rims

This is a great site and I keep coming back time and again for ideas - a lot of useful information here!

Are you serious? I'm really not sure if you are kidding around! Jap is short for Japanese and is no way considered a racial slur. I'm sorry if I offended you - I will make sure not to use the shortened name on the site. Considering I'm pretty new here, a warning is very laughable! I'll make sure our Brit forum knows about it. Surely I cannot be racist there as I am British?

The posted rules are what you are expected to abide by whether you agree with them or not.

Consider this your last warning as you are new here I'm cutting you some slack. We have enough smart mouths and tough guys so if you want to be either we can just ban you now and be done with it.

Follow the rules or go back to your UK forum.

You could politely ask why you are being discriminated against. If other people have transgressed and not been similarly treated that could amount to discrimination. Play them at their own game, they wont like it.

If you do a search on their forum for Brit or Jap a whole load of posts old and new come up. I don't get why theyre being this way to a new member. May be they don't want any new members? If they really were offended then fair enough. A polite PM stating please dont abbreviate etc etc I really don't think it called for a warning!

I noticed your post was edited by fink prat more like. The forum rules on Foul Language And Racial Slurs, would not even allow you to call someone a merchant banker (in jest).

I bet the banker was hovering, just waiting for someone to use a word, off his banned list.

It won’t be long before we will only be able to communicate with sign language, if we are not to upset someone, although the two fingers use at the Battle of Agincourt would probably some up your thoughts.

Instead of doing any work today, do some searching on Yotatech, looking for words like Oz, Aussie, Kiwi, Yank,Brit, and any others you can think of. Note and report them all.
I would also ask them just why it is OK to abbreviate Toyota into Yota, when its not OK to abbreviate Japanese. Maybe even some explanation as to why abbreviating a country name is construed as racist.
Alternately you could take the huff and sulk and not visit for a few weeks. that would show them.

Gooks was the Yanks term for the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam war I believe. Not sure if it applies to a wider audience than that. I certainly remember seeing the likes of John McCain using the term during his presidential campaign when talking about his capture & torture during the Vietnam war.

The Duke of Edinburgh probably overstepped the mark somewhat (nothing unusual there) when he was caught calling the Japanese "slanty eyed little #######s" but I suppose that sort of thing reflects the attitudes of a generation really.

I'm amazed at some of the apparently racist things my dad (in his mid 70s) says from time to time but it's not like he means any offence by anything - it's just how people were in less enlightened times and it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks...
