the strange thing with forums is when you meet people and they're the complete opposite to how they come across on the interweb!


loads of people have been and gone in my time on here... it just means more "newbies" stood in the corner at parties!

everyone used to get on fine (with the odd exception)... i've had great times getting drunk at parties, weddings, 4x4 events and non 4x4 events... and for a fiver, i'll even tell you the members i've slept with (ok, so one of them was Pops)!!

And as to Sunday night's exchanges, I don't think anybody got hurt (did they) I treated it as banter as I'm sure the people I was debating with treated it.
Every once in a while it is good to have a blow out, plus other people are entertained (judging by the views)
So, no-one was hurt, some were entertained, is there still a problem?

We have lost quite a few members because of this. I'm rarely here now for the same reason. I used to run greenlane days and would still, if I could be @rsed to post here.

I'm about to shoot myself in the foot here, (welcome back by the way Danno ), but seriously, posting to bitch about the fact the forum isn't how it used to be? If you want it back to the days of old, get back on here and helping out and making it a better place again instead of just appearing once in a blue moon to bitch about the fact that it isn't.

That's complaining about something and then doing sod all to try and help to rectify it. I'll come back when it has improved but do sod all to help get it there? The irony of that when you're posting regarding pointless and bitchy posts is rather notable.

You can always threaten people with one of your fry ups if they don't behave.

I must admit in the relatively short period of time ive been here i have noticed a few long term members vanish & alot of bitchin going on, don't know if its related but its a shame cos i like this forum.

There are alot of good people giving invaluable advice, not just surf related thing either.

Like danno said if you have a problem with someone then P.M them instead of letting the world know.

But I have to say I agree to the first point mentioned.

The forum is rapidly becoming facebook! I have been a member here since the beginning and even on the old forum (oh the memories!). It has been invaluable and I have met some great people and have organised some great days out. Its probably my fault that biohazard is here (thanks for taking on the plains runs Woodzie! )

I agree there is too much thread hijacking, backstabbing etc. If you lot dont agree then it runs into 13+ pages or ranting! GET A FKING LIFE!

If it wasnt for people like Koi, TonyN, Jotto, Pops, etc and all those others who CONSTRUCTIVELY contributed to the forum then it wouldn't be here. (BTW I'm going old school, not forgetting all the newer members! )

If you want to shout F's at each other THEN PM THEM!

I dont give two sh1ts whether you like someone or not. Banter is good, constructive critism is good, debate is good. Everything else NO-ONE IS INTERESTED!
