This is my first post and Im very new to 4x4, I bought my first 4x4 and its a 1992 ssrx hilux and I'm having trouble getting it into 4 wd mode. Basically I went to drive on the beach the other day but couldn't turn 4x4 mode on. So here is my question, on the small gear stick I pressed in the button on the side but nothing, I tried both L & H but noting happened, is there some short sequence I need to do? I got it into 4wd mode before but I dont know how I did and the guy who sold it to me told me to get it out of 4wd you have un-press the button and reverse then drive forward and it will come out. Which I did and it worked fine, but I cant get it into 4wd mode now, useless
