Towing an automatic
Can anyone please help or advise me if it is bad to tow an automatic vehicle?
If so what is the likely damage that will be caused?
I ask this because my LN130 92 2.4TD SSR-X had the dreaded overheat problem and has suffered a cracked head which is currently being fixed with an upgraded head and all relevant accesories (thanks to Roughtrax for the parts). I have since been told that you should not tow an automatic but have not been told why.
It was towed approx. 8 miles
Have I just thrown my money away?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
