Hopefully I'm not - that is my absolute last option...I may have to replace the transfer actuator motor - which is kind of OK, but need to know how - not done much of this mechanicing stuff you see - I'm an office boy don't you know....
not sure why you are replacing the diff mate, i thought you had it to bits and it was fine

Thanks Andrew - I'm looking at the EPC at the mo, and have a replacement switch for the transfer actuator switch so I'll try that tomorrow night when I get home and see if that fixes it, otherwise, I'll have to get the whole motor unit off, and replace that and see if that cures it - I've got a spare - but can't get it off the transfer without dismantling the whole thing....
OK - opened the motor ( I think) three bolts to open - one side has a geared wheel and three contacts next to each other on the cover - these are all as clean as the day they were made. The other side when I went to open it (smaller rectangular cover - 4 bolts) dribbled what smells like oil over my hand, that also looked a bit water contaminated - i.e. mayo type gunge in it - I closed this as I wasn't sure this was the correct side, or how to refil the oil if I had to.....
Still no joy - although I can hear the VSVs click in time with the relay now - which is nice....
