Well, just about exhausted my last line in pump repair, the only other avenue that I can see is buy a new unit.
Went to see a local firm who deal with all manner of commercial vehicles, from small diesel van to 44 ton HGV.
They said pretty much the same as all the others, in that to repair the particular seal that is leaking will require pump removal, strip down & repair and recalibration on test bench, at a cost of around £600.00-£800.00
So I think I'll try contacting the ausi guy from ebay who deals in brand new L/C pumps and see how much that is going tocost me.
They said even a second hand unit will need to be timed up to the engine requirements, and it'll cost £350.00 - £400.00 to swap the pumps, so I don't want to risk using a S/H unit with 100k miles on it.
Does anybody know if there is a tech manual with all relavant info on injection set up, like a Toyota technical manual for surfs written in english????
