I did it i got danno's 89 surf finally got it home after a slight overheat problem!!
spoke to danno and it seems like an airlock is to blame! he changed the radiator the day before. I have cleand the coolent system and refilled it and keeping a very close eye on it!

i now have a few more questions
, sorry. here goes, does anyone know if i can fit any toyota 3 point rear seat belt as i only have lap straps in the back? if not where would be a good place to get some? bit worryed about taking the kids in the back and i can really stop them cos they love my truck, or as they say 'michaels big car'!! Also does anyone know where i can get things like the electric mirror switch? mines playing up.
