Well thanks for the replys, I now have a working heater.
Basically, the cable was kinked where it attaches to the electric servo which operates the heater flaps, the linkage on the box was also tight.
I removed the lower dash and centre dash and found the fault after much huffing & puffing under the pedals, I thought the problem was at the other end at first.
Half a can of WD40 later & a large dose of copper slip, all is well........Thanks again.
The interior lights were blown bulbs (Blinding & obvious springs to mind)
