Brake warning light started flashing this week, 
a quick check showed the fluid was down, thinking it was just wear on the new front pads fitted in Feb i topped up the fluid, "jobs a gud un" or so i thought few days later the fluid warning light came back on! Fluid under the back of the truck near the ofside rear wheel but the hub was dry?
Turned out to be brake pipe split due to corrosion!
(the rest of the pipe looks like new) might be a common fault waiting to happen, its right up under the car near the fuel tank in a corner of the chassis by the rear wheel. Mud and crud has built up and rotted the pipe! cant get to it with the spare wheel in place (4runner) and normal jet washing would never touch it!!
The problem was when i removed the mud and crud the fluid came out even quicker! making it good fun to drive home with little brakes and a pedal on the floor!
