Hi. Can someone please advise me on this issue I have on my double cab hilux 2.4d same engine as the surf I believe.1996 model.
I had it parked up for couple years every now and then kept it running. Most recently noticed some wires chewed up under dash near bulkhead on drivers side.tried starting it it starts up kept running and then cuts out. Fires straight back up.
Sometimes drives for couple miles and then does same thing.
I have joined them wires back up but no difference not sure if the chewed wires have caused this or the problem might be elsewhere.
Maybe fuel pump relay or fuel cutof solenoid?? Can someone please help.
