On the off chance I called into Pinkstones to see if they would look at a rattle/vibration problem associated with the heating controls. They said there was no problem looking at it as long as I would give them the chassis number. They also said they would give it a free check over to see if there were any other major problems.
Initially I was a bit dubious but decided to give them a try. Dropped the car off at 9 am and by 10.30 am they rang me to say it was done. The fault was the routing of the heater cable in the dashboard and yes this did fix the fault.
Cost me £67 (inc vat).
To my delight not only did they give a quick and prompt service they washed my surf and said everything was ok on the free check !
The service manager even said what a nice vehicle I had.
I will definately go back there again.
