I know in some discussions, a lot of people will only fit Genuine Toyota LBJ's, whether this is absolutely necessary is up to the owner. the cost difference, though unverified, i gather is quite a lot.
It all depends on what you use your truck for, how solid your suspension is (and how massive the wheels), how many miles you do, and how well the local highway repair squadron look after the road.

I put the Roughtrax ones on my KZN185 last year and I've been happy with them.

There can sometimes be quite a big difference in price between Roughtrax and Milners. I know when replacing the rear drums on my LN130, the Milner ones were much cheaper but perfectly ok.

Any recommendations for KZN185 Lower Ball Joint purchases? Choices being Milner (chase brand) Roughtrax (Camelot brand) or KS-international (unbranded). Camelot ones look to be the most expensive, doe sit follow that they are the best quality?
